"The Sky's the Limit” NYE Concert, 31 December, 2012, 5.45pm-9.00pm, Paradise Pt. Parklands. Cnr Falkinder Ave and the Esplanade, Paradise Pt.

The NYE concert is entitled “The Sky’s The Limit, NYE, 2012.” It is crammed full of wonderful entertainment including 3 live band features and as follows;

1. A Costume Parade - Lead by a huge winged butterfly followed by a unicyclist, clowns, sequinned feather girls and others.

2. A “Celebration of Talented Youth” segment featuring “The Shooting Stars,” only just home after a successful tour in the US. Including local guitar/vocalist “WILL” who was the winner of the GC Eisteddfodd.

3. A “Tribute to the Legendary Ladies” who we fare-welled in 2012. (Whitney Houston, Donna Summer and Etta James.) Featuring Rikara, Amy Lapthorne and Megan Longhurst all performing with the live band.

4. UnderCover 5. The Gold Coast’s own original tween pop group who’s songs are being voted as most popular, across two Sydney radio stations.

5. The Funky Monkeys - Premier Live Band playing all the party hits to get the crowd dancing.

6. An appearance by fire twirling artists for the Nth end of the park during the concert.

7. The Lisa Hunt Band- The Soul Diva herself is ready to get LOUD leading into the fireworks.

8. The Fireworks display lights the sky at 9pm.
